We do yoga classes at the Perfectly Prana Yoga School

Welcome to the Perfectly Prana Yoga Studio. We offer drop in yoga classes in Haarlem, Amsterdam and around. You can do all sorts of yoga classes in the levels from: beginner, intermediate and advanced.

A private Yoga teacher will assist in ensuring your individual yoga practice need are fully met without having to be in a room full of sweaty bodies. Invest a little more and get 1 on 1 coaching from an experienced Yoga teacher.

I teach regularly yoga classes at a private Yoga studio right in the heart of downtown Zandvoort fitted out with all the latest Yoga gear. Feel free to drop into any of my yoga classes.

DROP IN PRICING

With our flexible drop-in system you pay €15,- only!  You have no commitments, no contracts and no sign up fees. A private yoga session costs €70,-  and is tailored by the clients needs.

YIN YOGA

Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues (Fascia), such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice. Yin Yoga is a perfect way to balance the “yang” way of life and society we are living in.

If that all above sounds too technical or does not fully resonate with you. Allow me to explain further: if you are person who loves to live a fast paced life, likes running, boxing… or even more heavier type of Yoga like Bikram, Yin Yoga is definitely for you.

Why is that? Yin yoga slows you down, you stay in the postures a longer time, almost that long that you might think “this takes too long” and there is the yin, you need to stay with your breath, with your body and everything else is secondary in that moment.

Yin yoga (same as all yoga) will bring you to the present moment and you need to stay in that present moment and make it comfortable for yourself. Your breathing is the key that is your anchor, once you are able to passed that uncomfortable “zone” (this has nothing to do with the pain)in yin yoga lesson, changes will happen in your mind and body.

VINYASA FLOW

Vinyasa flow lessons will create focus on breathing and self energy whilst targeting specific areas of the body. Focus on the lesson is to move with the breath and during the lesson you will be instructed when to inhale and when to exhale.

It is a very active type of lesson but accessible to all levels practitioners. Taking vinyasa flow lesson will help you to build solid and strong foundation in the asanas. One of the common phrases you might hear during the lesson is “take a vinyasa” so what does it mean? Vinyasa is short sequence of 4 poses: Plank Pose, Chaturanga, Upward facing dog or cobra, and downward facing dog.

The lesson will start with easy warm up, in the middle of the lesson your heart rate will go higher and towards the end of the lesson you will slow down and I make sure the lesson ends with nice long Savasana and you will be fully re-energised afterwards.

If you are looking for a Yoga lesson where you stay in the movement during the lesson (rather than in static postures) “flow” and where you will be sweating, this is your lesson.
